The word of God confirms that there are signs that reveal we belong to Jesus Christ. John 13:34, 35 (NKJV) states, (34) “A NEW COMMANDMENT I give to you, THAT YOU LOVE ONE ANOTHER; AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, that you also love one another. (35) BY THIS ALL WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE MY DISCIPLES, IF YOU LOVE ONE ANOTHER.” Jesus said, people will know us by our LOVE! In Matthew 7:16, Jesus also said, “YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUIT…” Father God, help us (Your people) to develop fruit in our lives so that it will be evident that we belong to Jesus Christ, Your Son. In Galatians 5:22-25 God’s word says, (22) “But the FRUIT of the Spirit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, (23) GENTLENESS, SELF-CONTROL. Against such there is no law. (24) And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” These are powerful Scriptures!!! This is the fruit! These are the signs! Father God, help us to crucify our flesh with its passion and desires so that the fruit of the Holy Spirit will show forth BIG in our lives. Lord Jesus, we love and we appreciate all that You did for us on the cross. Please forgive us, for all the times that we have misrepresented You by our actions. Thank You, Lord!
