I MUST LOVE AS GOD LOVES!
God’s word continuously shows me how to conduct my life. I must love as God loves and hate what God hates. In 1 John 4:7-8 (NKJV), the word of God says, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” I must show the love of God in my life because that’s a sign that I am born of God and I know Him. I must love as God loves and hate what God hates. In Proverbs 8:13, God’s word says, “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate.” God hates evil, pride, arrogance, the evil way and the perverse mouth. These are also things that I hate. I must love as God loves and hate what God hates. In 1 John 4:20-21, God’s word states, “If someone says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” If I say that I love God, I must love my brother and sister or else I am a liar—plain and simple. I must love as God loves and hate what God hates. In Proverbs 16:18, God’s word reaffirms, “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” God hates pride and haughtiness because they are destructive; therefore, I hate them too. I must love as God loves and hate what God hates. “GOD IS LOVE!” I LOVE GOD and IF I follow HIS example, you will know me by my LOVE.
