THE LORD IS MY LIGHT…

BARBARA E. PERKINS

THE LORD IS MY LIGHT…

The word of God in Psalm 27:1 (NKJV) declares, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” LORD, I thank You for constantly delivering me, preserving me from situations that are too big for me to handle. You are so GOOD and so FAITHFUL! That’s just one of the reasons that I love You. The most important reason that I love You and Jesus Christ is because of what He did on the cross for me. How glorious is the knowledge of that concept! Jesus Christ, now my Savior and Lord, died for my SALVATION and brought me into right relationship with God—my Heavenly Father. Thank You, LORD GOD, for bringing LIGHT into my life. All Glory, Honor and Praise to YOU and to JESUS CHRIST forever!!!
Would you like to know God as your Heavenly Father and come to know His Son, Jesus Christ, as your Savior and Lord? If you would, please pray this prayer: Dear God, I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that Jesus died on the cross, shed His blood, and rose from the grave for my salvation. I confess Him right now as my Savior and Lord. God fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I can live a life that pleases You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen! If you prayed this prayer you are saved. Welcome into God’s Family!

Christ Formed In You

CHARLES H. PERKINS
Christ Formed In You

(Galatians 4:19) My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you,
(Romans 8:29) For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Father, by your word, prayer and the power of The Holy Spirit, help me to be continually conformed into the image of Your Son so that Christ may be formed in me.  I love You.

TO THE DEATH

CHARLES H. PERKINS

TO THE DEATH

(Rev.10) Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
(Revelation 12:11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Lord, no matter what comes against me, no matter how difficult, no matter the circumstances, strengthen me that I may always live for You and in You.  Even in the face of persecution strengthen me to live for You and in You and if necessary, strengthen me to die for You and in You. O Lord, You are my God and I will love You unto death.

LORD, I LOVE YOUR WORD!

BARBARA E. PERKINS

LORD, I LOVE YOUR WORD!

Your word is a love story full of mercy and grace from You to those who believe. It offers wisdom, knowledge and understanding to all those who would dare to trust You, LORD. Your awesome word in Psalm 16:11 (NKJV) declares, “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Halllelujah!!!

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD…

BARBARA E. PERKINS

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD…

God’s blessed word in John 3:16-18 (NKJV) declares, 16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 ‘He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.’” As a result of God showing us His great love, He expects us to give our hearts to Him by us inviting Jesus Christ into our hearts as Savior and Lord. God’s purpose is to bring us back into right relationship with Himself through Jesus Christ; thereby, guiding us by His Spirit, “…That it (everything that’s encountered in life) might be well with you (us).” We see the previous phrase being used by God in several Scripture depicting His compassionate concern for us in Deuteronomy 5:33, “You shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.” We see this phrase again in Jeremiah 7:23 and then in Ephesians 6:3, where God is lovingly showing us how to live. Since God, in His magnificent love for the world, allowed His only Son, Jesus, to be sacrificed for us, we should be willing to live our lives for Him. That is extravagant love!!! My God, thank You!!! LORD, help us to live for YOU!
In Jesus’ Name! Amen! If you prayed this prayer you are saved.
