JUSTIFIED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
The word in Romans 5:5-11 (NKJV) declares, “5 Now hope
does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts
by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. 6 For when we were still without
strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a
righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare
to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were
still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified
by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were
enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more,
having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only that,
but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have
now received the reconciliation.” It is not a small thing that Jesus Christ did
for me (and humanity) when He willingly laid down His life so that I (we) could
live in Him and to bring me (us) into a relationship of peace with God the
Father. Lord Jesus, I thank You that I now have access to God. I thank You that
I have hope in God. I am also grateful that You are developing my perseverance
and character through tribulations that I don’t understand. But, Father God
because You promised in Your word that my hope in You does not disappoint, so I
trust You. Thank You for filling my heart with Your love. Father God, more than
anything, I appreciate You demonstrating Your love for me and humanity by
sending Jesus The Christ (in the form of mankind) to die for us even though we
were ungodly. What an awesome demonstration of Your love. Lord Jesus, thank You
for Your precious blood that justified me—saving from the wrath to come,
reconciling me back to God. To God, the Father, be glory, honor, and praise as
well as to Jesus Christ, my Savior and Lord.
