My help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and Earth. LORD, I respect You--my Maker and my GOD. It is You Who knows my ups and downs and my coming and goings. You are my strength LORD and my help is in You. You are my peace, because my help is in your name. My help is in Your name my Redeemer and my Healer. My help is in Your name LORD, my Shepherd and my Provider! My help is in Your name, LORD GOD, Almighty, Omniscient and Omnipresent forever. You can see the beginning and the end of all that concerns me. I honor You, LORD and I bless Your Holy name. Thank You, LORD, for being the sustainer of the lives of all of us that belong to the body of Christ. I love YOU, LORD! Thank You for Your lovingkindness and Your tender mercies.

THE PEACE THAT COMES FROM GOD

In Philippians 4:7 (NKJV) God’s word promises “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” So, my heart is fixed trusting You, my LORD, because You are the SOURCE of my being. You are my EVERYTHING!!! I bless Your Holy Name! Circumstances can change our lives, but I thank You, LORD, for Your love that gives us the peace that surpasses all understanding. You are truly an AWESOME GOD!!!

REASONS TO BLESS THE LORD!

The word of God encourages us from Psalm 103:1-5 (NKJV) in this manner, “Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities,

Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” I am tremendously encouraged every time I read this passage of Scriptures written by David, the poet. King David loved the LORD, even though he allowed sin to mess up his life and that of his family in a BIG WAY. David cried out to the LORD in true repentance and was forgiven. As a result, we are able to see his genuine love for the LORD, especially throughout the Psalms. David commanded himself, his mind and body, to bless the LORD for so many reasons. That’s what we have to do! That’s what I have to do! LORD, when I think about Your goodness, "I command myself to bless You!" It is not about how I feel because my body might be too tired to bless You, but it’s about You, LORD, and what You have done for in my life. You sent Jesus to hang on the cross and die so that I wouldn’t have too. O, my LORD, I thank you!!! LORD, You forgave me and saved me from destruction! Hallelujah!!! You healed my body! Thank You, LORD!!! You crowned me with Your lovingkindness and tender mercies. I bless You, my LORD!!! Then You satisfied my mouth with so many good things and You caused my youth to be renewed like the eagle’s. O, how I bless You, my LORD! It’s Your lovingkindness, Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your grace that makes me cry out, “HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH!!!” How could I forget Your benefits??? How could I not bless Your holy name??? I am so grateful and I truly love You, my AWESOME LORD!!!

GOD WANTS TO HANDLE OUR CARES

What do you do when your world has been turned upside down? What do you do when there is BREAKING NEWS of devastations that have changed lives almost every week? What do you do when the doctor shares information about your health that shakes your faith? What do you do when the possible starts to look impossible? The answer to all of these questions is FOCUS ON ALMIGHTY GOD!!!

The word of God in 1 Peter 5:7 says “Casting all your care upon Him (God), for He cares for you” (NKJV). When these life changing situations pop up in my life, l have to go to the Source of my existence to see what God has to say to me in His word about these situations. In all of these things that concern me, I can hear my Heavenly Father saying, “Humble yourself and cast all your cares on Me because I care for you and all of My people.” In Isaiah 43:1-3, my LORD declares, “…Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior…” In Isaiah 41:10, The LORD, my GOD declares these encouraging words, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” In Jeremiah 32:26-27 ALMIGHTY GOD uttered these defining words, 26 “Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying, 27 ‘Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?’” My response is, “No Lord, there is nothing too hard for You!” Thank You for caring about the things that concern me. You are my Salvation, my Deliver, my GOD and I trust YOU!
