COUNT IT ALL JOY!
In the Epistle of James 1:2-8 (NKJV) the word of God says, 2
“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing
that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its
perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any
of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without
reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no
doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the
wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the
Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” LORD GOD, help us
to stay focused on You and Your word so that we can be joyful when we go
through the trials or tests of life, knowing that You are with us developing
our patience. LORD, please finish Your thorough work in us so that we will be
fully developed, lacking nothing. Heavenly Father, I thank You that we (those
of us who have made Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord) can count it all joy when
trials and test come our way. It’s because we can totally trust YOU, even if we
don’t know what to do/what decision to make. I am so glad that we can pray and
get divine guidance from YOU that can change our circumstances. LORD, oh how I
love You and Your word! Your word is FULL OF PROMISES—like patience, wisdom,
faith that You will do what You said in Your word—if we trust You totally. I
TRUST YOU LORD!!! When the storms of life come to test our faith, LORD, I am
grateful that there is shelter from the storms in YOU. Therefore, WE CAN COUNT
IT ALL JOY!!!
