HOW DO WE OVERCOME?
Father God, Your word tells me how to be an overcomer
against the devil’s strategies or anything that might interfere with my focus
on You. Since I trust Your word, I have to read it, meditate on it, as well as
speak it (say what it says about me) daily. In Revelation 12:11 (NKJV), God’s
word clearly states, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the
word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” These
few Scriptures are examples of how to become an overcomer. Father God, Your
word in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 tells me that circumstances are light afflictions
and they are temporary so I can wait them out with You cheering me on. Father
God, In Isaiah 43:1-3, Your word tells me that I might have to pass through
waters and rivers, but, they shall not overflow me or when I pass through the
fires of life’s challenges I will not be burned nor scorched because I belong
to You and You are with me to bring me to my victory. HALLELUJAH!!! Your word
in 1 John 5:14-15 encourages me to really trust You and Your word then You
respond to my petitions in a dynamic way as I line my life up with Your will.
Wonderfully in 3 John 2, Heavenly Father, You called me Your BELOVED. Saying,
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as
your soul prospers.” Oh, how easy it is to overcome knowing that I am Your
Beloved. I love You, Heavenly Father, and I thank You for loving me and for
making me an overcomer. Praise Your Holy Name!
